Hi there,
it was a long process for me to think about the whole vinyl and digital thing. And of course I still prefer the black gold.
Nothing can ever compare with it. But the thing is, I'd thwart myself in my musical progress as an artist. And that's not worth
it, fighting for vinyl and falling by the wayside. Afterwards noone would ever thank me for it and I'd be out of the picture.
So I decided to take the next personal step and enter the digital releases world. It's the not avertable progress.

This is not meant to sound angry. Even if there surely is a bit frustration about this progress.
The last months I got so many offers to release my tracks digital on digital labels as downloads (thanks by the way). Even the
"big names" in the scene wanted my music. But I made my decision. And I want to lay emphasis on it now:
Even if the vinyl and CD market is collapsing more and more. I don't want to release my tracks only digital. It would be okay to
put them on vinyl and into the internet as download. Both solutions at the same time are ok. But not only digital.
I decided that way, because I don't live from making music. It's not a business, it is my passion. And I'm really not set on
releasing my music, cost what it may. I don't have to release, whatever comes! That's why I rejected every digital request so far.
Concernign this matter I think as follows: It is just worthless to download a file. I want to hold something I bought in my hands.
With a nice design. I still wanna be able to put it on a turntable 60 years later and to show it to my kids.
And there are so many digital labels now, releasing shit every 14 days. People lose the overview. And they share the files to each
other!!
Regarded in long terms it makes no sense to release my stuff digital. And luckily I don't have to. At least I don't need a label
for that.

I don't know why that person thinks it's a good idea to steal my artist name (I already own it since more than 10 years and it's well known and easy to find in the internet), but I definitely don't play those kinds of music... Well... USB mixsession 61/NightGen special is over. Those who listened to my mix might have noticed that I had massive
technical problems with the sound. We sweated blood and water, we mailed, phonecalled, re-plugged, changed settings... nothing.
Nevertheless I played my 90 minutes. But after my set the problems suddenly could be fixed. So the following 90 minutes were also
mixed by me, cause I had good sound now and got back my concentration.
Three hours dj marathon with lots of panic attacks... but the second half of my set was really okay.
